OARC funding appeal

Donate to OARC

Since March 2005, the Oxford Action Resource Centre has provided an open, non-hierarchical meeting, office and library space for activist and community groups in Oxford. The grant which originally funded the project ran out towards the end of 2006 and since then we have depended on donations and one-off fundraising events to keep OARC open.

We are asking users and supporters of OARC to contribute to keeping the centre open. Our bills - rent, internet, etc. - are about £300 per month.

Your standing order of just £2 a week would help us to keep the centre open. You can set one up with our PDF form (255K) or the rich text form (20K).

We would prefer you fill in one of the forms and send it to us. That way we can keep in touch so, for example, if we change our bank account we can let you know so that you can change you standing order (only you can change the details of the standing order - we can't). But if you don't want us to have your details or just can't be bothered printing the form out, you can set up a standing order directly with your bank using the details below. (contact us if you need any help).

Account name: Oxford Action Resource Centre
Account number: 65374072

Thanks for your support!

If you prefer to make a one-off donation, you can pop it in the donations box in OARC, or post it to OARC, East Oxford Community Centre, Princes St, Oxford OX4 1DD. Cheques should be made out to 'Oxford Action Resource Centre'. Standing orders are most useful because they provide more secure long-term funding, but all types of support are welcome.
